AVMA Volunteer Opportunities - Vacancies

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the AVMA! As a volunteer, your travel, lodging, and meals are covered by the AVMA. We currently are seeking volunteers to fill the following positions:

Council on Education Site Visitors

The Council on Education (COE) is now accepting applications for veterinarians interested in serving as Site Visitors.  Site Visitors will conduct veterinary school accreditation site visits on behalf of the COE.

*Applicants who are engaged in private clinical practice or non-academic practice are encouraged to apply. 

AVMA Officers

Nominations are being accepted for candidates for the position of AVMA President-Elect for the August 2016-July 2017 Association year, and the July 2017-July 2018 Association Year, AVMA Vice President for a two-year term from August 2016-July 2018.
