Reducing burnout: An opportunity for practices
Are you and your practice interested in helping address the issue of burnout in the veterinary profession – and discovering tools that can help you reduce burnout? If so, then sign up to participate in a clinical trial study with Cornell University, funded by AVMA and the Zoetis Foundation.
Participating in the study could provide your practice with tools and skills to help reduce burnout and increase profitability. You or members of your team will receive training worth more than $5,000, provided free as part of the study. In addition, participating individuals within selected clinics may receive cash for completing various stages of the research.
What does participation involve?
Practices that take part in the study can expect to be involved for up to six months in 2023. The largest time commitment would come in the first two to three weeks.
If your clinic is interested in participating, please fill out this survey no later than February 1, 2023. If you have any questions about the study, please email CNeillavma [dot] org (AVMA Senior Economist Clint Neill, PhD).
