He has served in leadership positions in several veterinary organizations, including president of the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Andrews is an avid mountain climber and has ascended some of the world’s tallest peaks.

Dr. Craig L. Wardrip (PUR ’78) of Palos Heights, Ill., co-owns the Crestwood Animal Clinic with his wife and classmate, Sue. He is board-certified by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine and is associate professor of clinical surgery and chief of large animal clinical services at the University of Chicago. The couple has endowed a scholarship for veterinary students who face financial challenges similar to theirs as the veterinary college’s first married couple to enter as classmates.
