Speakers invited for 2012 AVMA convention

Proposals are now being accepted from veterinarians, related professionals, and other individuals who would like to present a continuing education session at the 2012 AVMA Annual Convention, Aug. 4-7 in San Diego.

The deadline for submission of proposals is Feb. 28, 2011.

The newly revised submission form is posted on the AVMA convention website at www.avmaconvention.org. To download the form, click on the "For Speakers" tab and then on the link to "Download the 2012 Call for Speakers Form." The direct link is avmaconvention.org/avma11/Public/Content.aspx?ID=3440.

Presentations are sought for the following sections: Companion Animal, Food Animal/Equine, Practice Management/Professional Development, Public & Corporate Practice, and Veterinary Technician. For each proposed presentation, the form asks applicants to specify the presentation format and CE level and to provide a promotional description and learning objectives.
