On Aug. 4, 2003, Dr. Krystyna M. Grodecki joined the AVMA Publications Division as an assistant editor. Her background in research, clinical practice, and clinical pathology will be a valuable asset.

Following graduation, she worked as a private practitioner in mixed animal, small animal, and strictly feline hospitals in Ontario. She then returned to the Department of Pathology at the Ontario Veterinary College to obtain her DVSc degree, with a focus on clinical pathology. After obtaining her DVSc degree, she worked as a clinical pathologist for veterinary diagnostic laboratories in Cheshire and Herefordshire, England, and then at the veterinary diagnostic laboratory at the University of Montreal.

Dr. Grodecki's scientific reports have been published in the Journal of Comparative Pathology and Canadian Journal of Veterinary Research. She is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (clinical pathology).
