The American Veterinary Medical Foundation welcomes new and returning members to its board of directors for the 2002-2003 term.

Dr. William Van Dresser, Eatonton, Ga., was reelected to a second term as board chairman; Dr. Robert P. Gordon, Oakland, N.J., was reelected to serve as vice chairman; Fritz Wood, Overland Park, Kan., a certified public accountant and financial planner, was reelected to serve as treasurer; and Dr. R. New to the board is Pat Brandt, Nokomis, Fla., wife of former AVMA president and current Executive Board chair, Dr. James H. Brandt. Previously, she was an office manager for two Florida veterinary practices and since the 1960s has been a member of the Auxiliary to the AVMA and Auxiliary to the Florida VMA.
