In a recent Take Notice item in the Oct 15, 2000 JAVMA, "Veterinarians held in high esteem: Gallup," we included information from a recent Gallup poll concerning its annual Honesty and Ethics Poll. To clarify, this was the first year Gallup included veterinarians, nurses, grade and high school teachers, and judges (among other newly added professions) in the polling, and those four professions received a top 10 ranking. The poll considers certain professions, but does not represent all professions. | |
