Veterinary Information Forum - topic
- Enhancing utilization of veterinary technicians
The AVMA recognizes the value of veterinary technicians as an integral component of veterinary medicine and promotes full utilization of veterinary technicians. This session will explore ideas and trends on how to best enhance the veterinary profession through efficient utilization of the veterinary health care team.
ACTION: The House of Delegates approved recommending that the Board of Directors consider convening a task force to design a plan to improve the utilization of veterinary technicians, and report back to the House within one year.
