AVMA offers handout on NSAIDs

The AVMA has produced a new handout to help practitioners educate clients about the safety of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for pets.
“Your Pet’s Anti-Inflammatory Medications” provides an overview of the benefits and risks of NSAIDs as well as recommendations for responsible NSAID use. The handout has space to add clinic information.
Association staff developed the content with input from the AVMA Council on Biologic and Therapeutic Agents and the AVMA Clinical Practitioners Advisory Committee. The Association is providing the handout as a free resource for members of the AVMA and Student AVMA.
