"What you should know about Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease" is the newest addition to the AVMA consumer educational brochure series. The topic was recommended by the AVMA Council on Communications to expand the number of feline-specific titles offered by the AVMA.

Created with help from the Feline Health Center at Cornell University, the brochure was adapted from feline materials they developed with assistance from the American Association of Feline Practitioners. The new AVMA brochure describes the common signs and causes of feline lower urinary tract disease and what cat owners can do to reduce the chances of recurrence.

The brochure can be downloaded from the AVMA Web site in an English text or PDF format, or as a Spanish-text document. Printed copies are $15 per package of 50, with discounts available on large orders.

The AVMA brochure series now includes 30 titles. View them all here.
