Veterinarian narrowly wins Montana House seat

Shortly after JAVMA News went to press in November, Dr. Krayton Kearns was declared the winner of a recount in the race for the state House of Representatives seat representing Montana's 58th District (see JAVMA, Dec. 15, 2006). Dr. Kearns' three-vote victory over incumbent Democrat Emelie Eaton gave Republicans a one-seat majority in the House. | ||
