An educated client is your best client. These resources will help you inform and educate clients on important topics in animal health and pet care. Whether you need a handout on parvovirus to use in the clinic or cancer information to share on your website, AVMA has you covered. Many materials are available in both English and Spanish.

Handouts and flyers

Hang flyers in the clinic or hand them to clients to educate them on topics ranging from preventive care to weather hazards to vaccinations. Also available are back-office materials to keep staff informed on important issues, like prescription writing, pharmaceutical disposal, and crisis intervention. All are available as free downloads for AVMA members.

Brochures

Choose from over 35 titles on a variety of animal health and safety topics, including many in both English and Spanish. Professional-quality brochures cover everything from cancer and rabies to choosing a new pet and grieving a pet's loss. AVMA members get up to 20% off in the AVMA store.

Spanish-language resources

View, print and download Spanish-language materials to share with clients on topics including pet care, common diseases, microchips, euthanasia, disaster/emergency preparedness, and veterinary careers. These resources are available free of charge for AVMA members.

Children’s education

Teach children about dog bite prevention, the responsibilities of owning a pet, and the job of a veterinarian with interactive activity and coloring books. Coloring books are in English with Spanish subtitles. Comic book is in English, with Spanish version available as a PDF download.
