National Animal Health Laboratory Network (NAHLN) funding
The AVMA advocates for federal funding to develop, support, and maintain the infrastructure for a comprehensive NAHLN so that our nation will be capable of detecting, diagnosing, and responding to any animal health threat. Additionally, the AVMA urges the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to request no less than full authorized funding for the continued operation of the NAHLN.
