AVMA Convention 2024 Daily News Sunday

Make the most of the exhibit hall

The exhibit hall at AVMA Convention 2024 in Austin, Texas, is so big that a giant pair of scissors and an AVMA president were needed to open it. Convention attendees flooded into the hall once 2023-24 AVMA President Rena Carlson officially opened the space Saturday in the Austin Convention Center.

The exhibit hall features more than 300 vendors showcasing some of the latest technological innovations. Visit the AVMA Pavilion to learn about the Association’s activities. And don’t miss AVMA Center Stage, a new area featuring interviews, award presentations, sponsored sessions, and music breaks. Visitors can have their headshot taken today at Center Stage during exhibit hall hours.

The exhibit hall is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday. Attendees earn two continuing educational credits just for visiting the exhibit hall. Plus, there will be an exhibit hall break from 3-4 p.m. today when attendees can enjoy some Austin food favorites, including churros, Willie’s Munchie-Mix, and more. (Photos by R. Scott Nolen)
