Inside the headquarters for military dogs

Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio breeds and trains military working dogs for the entire Department of Defense and serves as the hub for veterinary care for these dogs. Military photographers have documented the dogs at Lackland during training exercises and while participating in competitions and demonstrations, bonding with handlers, and receiving veterinary care.
