The AVMA and analytics company VetSuccess announced in February that they have formed a partnership to expand the scope and reach of their economic data and reports, providing veterinary professionals with the most current data so they can monitor key veterinary indicators and make more-informed business decisions.

The Veterinary Industry Tracker from VetSuccess will now be available on the AVMA’s website, along with the Association’s other economic tools, reports, and resources.

The AVMA also began publishing a new monthly email newsletter, AVMA Practice Pulse, with benchmarks and metrics made available to the AVMA by VetSuccess. AVMA Practice Pulse will provide a digest of practice data and expert insight to help veterinary professionals strengthen their business strategy and position their practices for greater success. In addition, the AVMA and VetSuccess will produce a series of webinars geared toward helping veterinary professionals understand the economic trends affecting the profession.

“The results of this collaboration will add to our already extensive collection of economic resources to improve business knowledge, acumen and financial success, and further establish the AVMA as the premier source of complete and unbiased financial and market information for the veterinary profession,” AVMA President Douglas Kratt said in a press release.

“Our main goal with this collaboration is to marry VetSuccess statistics with AVMA economic expertise, ultimately enabling deeper visibility into veterinary industry performance. In short, we want to help our industry grow,” said Martin Traub-Werner, founder of VetSuccess.
