Theriogenologist of the Year, sponsored by Universal Imaging Inc.
Dr. John Dascanio (Pennsylvania '88), Harrogate, Tennessee. Dr. Dascanio serves as executive associate dean at the Lincoln-Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a diplomate of the ACT and American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Dr. Dascanio was honored for excellent service as ACT treasurer from 2014-17. As treasurer, he helped enhance the financial stability of the college, ensuring adequate funding was available to support ACT projects.
Business
Changes to the bylaws were presented and discussed, including changes to the general information guide and to the composition of the Appeals Committee and the creation of a Maintenance of Certification Committee. The ACT purchased two computers for use by the Examination Committee. The college continues to support the Theriogenology Foundation, especially with regard to student initiatives and the Working Dog Project (see story, Nov. 1, 2017).
