Awards: Dr. Murray Fowler Lifetime Achievement Award: Dr. Suzanne Kennedy-Stoskopf, Raleigh, North Carolina, won this award, given in recognition of exceptional commitment and contributions to the college and to advancing the discipline of zoological medicine. A 1976 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Kennedy-Stoskopf serves as a research professor of wildlife infectious diseases and ecosystem health at the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a diplomate of the American College of Zoological Medicine. ACZM Student Manuscript Award: Dr. Julie Sheldon, Urbana, Illinois, for "Comparison of total leukocyte quantification methods in free-living Galapagos tortoises (Chelonoidis spp.)." President’s Award: Dr. Jennifer D’Agostino, Oklahoma City, for her service as chair of the ACZM Examination Committee.
