Event provides free eye exams for service animals

The American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists is preparing for the 10th annual ACVO/StokesRx National Service Animal Eye Exam Event to provide free eye examinations for service animals this May. Ophthalmologists performed 7,400 free eye screenings in 2016 alone and have performed more than 52,000 total since the program’s inception in 2008. Animal owners and handlers can register for the event here in April.
