Attendees at the AVMA Convention 2016, Aug. 5-9 in San Antonio, can learn all about military working dogs during a daylong walking tour at Lackland Air Force Base. The base breeds and trains dogs for the entire Department of Defense and serves as the hub for veterinary care for these dogs. The June 1 issue of JAVMA News will feature an article about these programs. Registration for the convention and the walking tour is here.
