Board appoints liaisons

The AVMA Board of Directors, while meeting Sept. 4-5, appointed liaisons to represent the AVMA as follows:

  • Dr. Bonnie Buntain, Calgary, Alberta, liaison to the Codex Alimentarius Commission’s Committee on Food Hygiene.
  • Dr. Adam Eichelberger, Columbia, South Carolina, liaison to the National Association of State Public Health Veterinarians’ Committee to Develop a Compendium of Measures to Control Disease and Injury from Contacts with Animals in Public Settings.
  • Dr. Jeanne Rankin, Raynesford, Montana, liaison to the United States Animal Health Association’s working group addressing a USAHA resolution to support creation and maintenance of a resource on requirements for interstate movement of livestock.
