The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Foundation, in partnership with the Veterinary Pharmacology Research Foundation, is calling for proposals of animal health studies with a pharmacological focus.

The American Academy of Veterinary Pharmacology and the American College of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology formed the VPRF in 2006, and the VPRF has partnered with the ACVIMF since 2009 to fund studies that advance pharmacology within veterinary specialty medicine. The partnership has awarded about $56,000 in grants.

This year, the VPRF has pledged $18,000 to fund pharmacological studies. The VPRF and ACVIMF strongly encourage collaborations between pharmacologists and ACVIM diplomates.

May 31 is the deadline for proposals. Details are available at www.ACVIMFoundation.org.
