The article “Westward Expansion” (see JAVMA, Nov. 15, 2012) included a statement by Dr. Deborah Yarborough, Montana VMA president, that a pre-1993 special education fund in the state legislature for Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education programs was not under legislative control. However, it was under legislative control, just as the current funding source is.
