Dr. D.J. Haeussler Jr. won the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists’ 2010 Resident’s Award for best basic science paper for “The effects of hyaluronic acid on lenticular epithelial migration in vitro”, based on research he conducted at The Ohio State University colleges of Veterinary Medicine and Optometry, not at the Animal Care Centers of Cincinnati as was stated in the Dec 1, 2010, JAVMA News report (page 1235) on the ACVO annual meeting.
