Correction:
A funding amount was incorrectly stated in the April 1, 2010, issue of JAVMA. The Department of Homeland Security is providing $9 million to Texas A&M University over the next six years for the university’s work as a lead institution for the DHS Center of Excellence for Foreign Animal and Zoonotic Disease Defense.
