Toxicoses policy revised

The Executive Board approved revisions to the AVMA policy Toxicoses. The Committee on Environmental Issues recommended revising the policy to add possible actions for preventing animal and human toxicoses and to provide greater relevance to the veterinary profession.

The revised policy states the following:

Toxicoses

The AVMA supports education, legislation, regulations, research, and other actions that prevent toxicoses in wildlife, domestic animal, and human populations.
