The American Association of Swine Veterinarians and the National Pork Board have collaborated to create "A producer's guide to managing porcine circovirus associated disease."

The 18-page, color brochure describes porcine circovirus-associated disease, explains the role of herd veterinarians, emphasizes the need for laboratory diagnosis, and outlines steps to take for each stage of production following a diagnosis of PCVAD on a farm.

Electronic copies of the brochure are on the AASV Web site, under Publications. Print copies of the brochure are available at no charge to U.S. producers and industry educators from The Pork Store Swine Health.
