AVMA member veterinarians and others interested in speaking at the 2007 AVMA Annual Convention, July 14-18—in Washington, D.C—are invited to submit proposals for presentations. The deadline for submission is Feb. 2, 2006.

Presentations are sought for the convention sections on Companion Animal, Food Animal/Equine, Personal/Professional Development, Public & Corporate Practice, Poultry, Veterinary Technician, and Veterinary Interactive Labs.

Prospective speakers should complete a form that is available online or by contacting AVMA staff and mail it to AVMA headquarters as their cover page, accompanied by a separate piece of paper describing the specifics of the proposed presentation.

Veterinarians who are U.S. residents must be AVMA members to speak at the AVMA Annual Convention.

To access the form, go to the AVMA home page, and in the righthand bar under "AVMA Annual Convention," click on "AVMA 2007 Call for Speakers." To request the form from staff or ask a question, contact Pat Kmak, speaker coordinator, at pkmakatavma [dot] org, (800) 248-2862, Ext. 6622.
