Three-fourths majority needed to pass big-ticket proposals

Recommendations to the Executive Board costing $25,000 or more will now require a three-fourths affirmative vote to be approved. District IV board member, Dr. Larry R. Corry, recommended the condition, explaining it is necessary for a thoughtful and focused application of funds to strategically directed projects. Worthy projects should be able to garner sufficient support for approval, he added.
