Winn Feline Foundation calls for grant proposals

The foundation supports research on medical problems affecting cats. This past year, the foundation awarded grants totaling $133,670 to researchers working on topics as varied as vaccine-site sarcoma, feline lymphoma, feline diabetes, and contraceptive vaccines for use in free-roaming cats. Grant applications must be received by Dec. 1, 2003. In 2004, special consideration will be given to mammary cancer projects. The maximum grant amount is $15,000. Awards will be announced in March 2004. | ||
The Winn Feline Foundation, a nonprofit organization affiliated with The Cat Fanciers' Association Inc., is accepting applications for 2004 grants.
