A veterinarian refines the technique of administering dental anesthesia during a dentistry wet lab on July 16. The models used for the lab were created by Columbia Dentoform, based on wax molds carved by instructor Dr. Jana Levin. The models were made with a gum-like material, allowing veterinarians to cut into and suture the "tissue." The extensive materials provided in the labs were made possible by about 20 sponsoring companies, which donated everything from gauze to sophisticated models and surgical lighting, Little said.
