AHI names general counsel

The Animal Health Institute this past December appointed Dr. Kent D. McClure to the position of AHI general counsel. Dr. McClure will continue to provide scientific direction in regulatory affairs and will oversee the AHI's Veterinary Biologics Section, where he provides technical assistance and maintains communication with industry scientists. Prior to joining the AHI in May 1999, Dr. McClure practiced law in Dallas at a firm representing physicians, nursing homes, hospitals, nurses, and other health care providers in state and federal courts. He also practiced veterinary medicine in Texas. Dr. McClure earned his DVM degree at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and his JD degree from the University of Texas School of Law. | |
