Convention site selection goes unchanged

More than 90 percent of the respondents to the 2000 AVMA Annual Convention site selection survey prefer the current site rotation policy over having one permanent convention site or having a number of permanent sites in each of the three membership zones.

On this basis, the Executive Board decided that the convention site will continue rotating among cities in the three membership zones (East, Central, and West). Members showed preference for some more expensive cities, which staff will now weight heavily, along with other factors.
