The AVMA is proud to announce Dr. Mark Penning, vice president of Animals, Science, and Environment at Disney Parks, will deliver the keynote address at AVMA Convention 2026. Dr. Penning will offer an inside look at how The Walt Disney Company ensures that the animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom and The Seas at Epcot not only survive but thrive, He'll share how Disney is transforming the way Hollywood uses animals in entertainment and spotlight the company's important work protecting wildlife around the globe, such as sea turtles, corals, and lions.
