Is accreditation retroactive?

Q: When would students of a newly accredited veterinary program be considered graduates of an AVMA COE accredited school? Is accreditation retroactive for all graduates or does it begin on a certain date?

 

A: Accreditation classifications are not retroactive; they apply from the date of the site visit.
