VetResources-Pet-Dental-HealthAs veterinarians, we know how important dental care is for pets’ overall health. But do our clients? February is National Pet Dental Health Month, and the AVMA has great resources to help you celebrate in the clinic and on social media. Our free toolkit, available exclusively to AVMA members, will help you reach clients to let them know about the importance of pet dental care – and encourage them to make an appointment.

Our National Pet Dental Health Month toolkit includes pre-written social media posts you can use on Twitter and Facebook; a marketing plan to help you get the word out about events you’re holding; templates for press releases and letters to the editor that you can use to craft your own messages to send to your local media;  ideas to help you observe Pet Dental Health Month in your clinic; and more.

In addition to the toolkit, we have other dental health resources, including client brochures and handouts, videos, a podcast, and more. You can find all of these tools at avma.org/PetDental/.

With National Pet Dental Health Month less than a month away, now is the time to start planning. The veterinary toolkit and other resources at avma.org/PetDental make it easy for you to use this national observance to educate clients about why pets need year-round dental care.
