New CE helps you tackle common clinical issues
Looking to advance your clinical skills and gain practical knowledge to implement in your practice? Head over to AVMA Axon®, where some of the most popular continuing education (CE) sessions from AVMA Convention 2023 are available on demand.
The sessions cover some of the most common medical issues veterinarians and our teams encounter on a daily basis—such as canine lymphoma, itchiness in dogs and cats, and protocols for anesthesia. You’ll find them all in the Best of AVMA Convention and Events category in the course catalog. Each course offers 1 hour of CE credit and costs only $15 for AVMA and Student AVMA (SAVMA) members. Non-members can purchase them for $30.

Thanks but no thanks
It’s great that AVMA is making available for CE credit the recordings of lectures from past AVMA meetings. However, I’m disappointed that the courses aren’t available for free to members. The internet is full of free approved CE trainings without paying a membership fee. Why should I pay for courses from an organization to which I already pay hundreds in dues? The admittedly nominal $15/course acts as a ‘pay wall’ and disincentive to register. Please consider reinstating free access to members. Thanks.
