  • Keynote address: As we lead, so we leave—The keynote address will focus on the effects leadership has had on all of us, both good and bad, while reflecting on the lasting impressions of our work.
  • Networking with a purpose—Give back to the community while having fun in the process as we serve Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
  • Closing party—End the conference on a high note Saturday evening with entertainment, dining, giveaways, and much more.

Investing in the future of the veterinary profession

The AVMA is offering scholarships to 10 AVMA members to help with the cost of registration, travel, and meals while attending VLC. To be considered, applicants must have graduated within the last five years and fall into at least one of the following categories:

  • Rising leaders – Attendees with a desire to serve as a volunteer leader with little or no prior leadership experience
  • Under-represented in veterinary leadership – Veterinarians from a demographic, geographic, or socioeconomic group or practice type that is under-represented in U.S. veterinary leadership

The application for scholarships must be received by November 22.

VLC is for veterinarians at every point in your career. If you’re interested in deepening your engagement with AVMA or other veterinary organizations, there’s no better place to connect and grow. Check out the schedule and register now at avma.org/VLC.
