Welcome to the new AVMA Career Center—the trusted job board of the veterinary profession, now with a fresh look and improved features! Formerly the Veterinary Career Center, the AVMA Career Center has launched to meet the profession’s evolving career needs. What job seekers should know

It’s still free to search and apply to jobs on the AVMA Career Center. If you had a job seeker account on the former Veterinary Career Center, use the email associated with that account to reset your password and access the new AVMA Career Center. Be sure to review your account information and any resumes on file to ensure everything is up to date. If you are brand new to AVMA’s job board, you can create a free job seeker account to get started.

Once you sign in, be sure to check out these features:

• The upgraded job search page allows you to apply advanced search filters including location, radius, specialty, company name, and more without ever having to leave the search results.
• Make informed decisions with location data for each job opportunity, such as cost-of-living index, safety, utilities, transportation and more—all within the job search page.
• Enroll to receive alerts when jobs become available that match your personal profile, skills, interests, and preferred locations.
• Receive the latest jobs delivered straight to your inbox twice a month with the new and exclusive Job Flash™ email.
• Access new and exclusive career resources, including webinars, articles, job searching tips, and other tools.

What employers should know

If you had an employer account on the Veterinary Career Center, your account details have migrated to the new experience. Use the email associated with your account to reset your password and access the AVMA Career Center to find top talent. Once you sign in, review your company profile and note that the URLs of your job listings have probably changed. Be sure to replace your Career Center job listing link anywhere you’ve shared it, such as on your clinic website or on social media. If you are brand new to AVMA’s job board, you can create a free employer account to get started.

There are a variety of inclusive packages customized to help you reach the candidates you need, and, though a price increase has been implemented, AVMA members still enjoy discounted pricing for job listings.
