Nomination process

It’s easy to nominate someone you know who has made a difference to veterinary medicine:

1. Choose the right award for each nominee. Go to avma.org/Awards to read the description, nomination criteria, submission requirements, and selection process for each award.
2. Submit your nominations. Download and fill out the nomination form found on the awards webpage. Then, gather all required supporting materials and submit them with the form to avma-awardsavma [dot] org (avma-awards[at]avma[dot]org) no later than February 22.

Your participation makes the difference

Only those people nominated can be considered for recognition. The AVMA chooses award winners solely from among the nominees suggested by colleagues.
