New website feature: Sign in with your email address

Now more than ever, it’s important to have quick access to the information we need to do our work. For that reason, we’ve simplified the AVMA website sign-in process so you can sign into avma.org with your email address instead of your AVMA ID number.

This makes it easier than ever for AVMA members to take full advantage of the many member-exclusive tools and resources on avma.org. Among many others, these include:

How does it work?

When you sign into the website,  you have the option to enter either your AVMA ID number or the email address in your AVMA member profile – the address where you receive AVMA newsletters like AVMA Vitals. You’ll also need to enter your password, or reset it if it has expired.

The AVMA is committed to constantly improving your member experience. We hope this new feature helps you explore the many member-only resources on avma.org. If you need help, you’ll find email and phone contacts on the sign-in page.

Cybersecurity tip

While you’re exploring the new sign-in option, consider changing your password if you haven’t done so recently. It’s important to safeguard your account with a strong password that others won’t be able to guess. We encourage all AVMA and SAVMA members to update your AVMA password  regularly. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it will help keep your account and data safe and secure.
