Drs. Seyedmehdi Mobini and Sandy Willis elected to AVMA Board of Directors

Congratulations to Drs. Seyedmehdi Mobini and Sandy Willis, who have been elected to the AVMA Board of Directors (BOD).
Both will join the Board in August during the AVMA Annual Convention and serve six-year terms.
Dr. Mobini, a professor of veterinary science at Fort Valley State University in the University System of Georgia, is from Macon, Georgia. He will serve Board of Directors District 4 and will represent AVMA members in Florida, Georgia, and Puerto Rico.
Dr. Willis is a small animal internist for Phoenix Lab, a veterinary diagnostic laboratory in Mukilteo, Washington, that is now a part of Zoetis.
She will serve District 11, representing AVMA members in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming.
Dr. Mobini will succeed Dr. Jose Arce of Puerto Rico, and Dr. Willis will succeed Dr. Rena Carlson of Idaho.
Both candidates ran unopposed for their Board positions.
