More than 10 years ago, 9/11 brought home the reality of terrorism to our nation, and we are still recovering from the devastating losses. However, there are many forms of terrorism, including bioterrorism, which our nation must be prepared to fight. Our government's commitment to protecting our country's agriculture and food systems from bioterrorism continues to be a high priority.
