AVMA Vice President 2018-2021
Dr. Grace Bransford, a resident of Mill Valley, Calif., received her veterinary degree from the University of California-Davis. She is a small-animal practitioner in Marin County in the San Francisco Bay area.
Dr. Bransford has been involved in AVMA volunteer leadership for the last 20 years, serving on numerous councils and committees, along with being a member of the AVMA's 20/20 Commission and the Task Force on Governance and Membership Participation.
In addition, Dr. Bransford has been involved with the California Veterinary Medical Association from the time she was the student representative to the Board of Governors to the present. In 2017, she was chosen as the commencement speaker for the graduating class of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
Prior to veterinary medicine, Dr. Bransford had a 10-year career in advertising and marketing, where she worked with some of the leading consumer businesses in the U.S., including Anheuser-Busch, Pepsi-Cola and Quaker Oats.
She spends time with her partner, Patrick Clark, as well as her treasured companions Max the black Lab, Bunz the Flemish Giant rabbit, and Calvin the Irish Sport Horse.
