Health officials are investigating a multistate outbreak of human Campylobacter infections linked to puppies sold through a national pet store chain. At least 97 people have been identified with laboratory-confirmed infections or symptoms consistent with Campylobacter infection. The CDC has details about the outbreak on its website, along with advice for veterinariansa, pet owners, pet store workers and healthcare providers.
