 Call for abstracts by the Center for Companion Animal Health

The Center for Companion Animal Health at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of California-Davis, is calling for abstracts for "Critical Appraisal of Infectious Gastroenteropathy in Companion Animals: Merging Nutrition, Immunology, and Infection," to be held at the university July 13-14. Abstracts are due April 15 for the following three general topics: pathogenesis, ecology, diagnosis, and management of infectious enteritis in dogs, cats, and horses; immunologic and nutritional influences in infectious enteritis and inflammatory bowel disease; and epidemiology and problems in large populations, zoonoses, and emerging pathogens. There will also be five plenary sessions and a zoonoses round table on Giardia, Brachyspira, Campylobacter, Clostridium difficile, and more. For more information, contact Dr. Janet E.
