New marketing position approved at AVMA

The Executive Board authorized creation of a new staff position to help the AVMA's marketing department with its growing responsibilities, which include marketing support for the Animal Welfare Forum and the Convention and Meeting Planning Division.

The AVMA will look for a professional with five to seven years of experience in marketing association events to fill the new position. The events marketing manager will join three other employees in the marketing department: a director, a marketing assistant, and a secretary.
