Dr. Kliff Bramwell

Event: Annual meeting, June 8-11, Pocatello
Awards: Veterinarian of the Year: Dr. Kliff Bramwell, Rigby. A 1977 graduate of Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Bramwell began his career practicing at Rexburg Veterinary Clinic in Rexburg, and in 1980 established South Fork Animal Clinic, a mixed animal practice in Rigby. He is a past president of the Eastern Idaho VMA and served on the Idaho Board of Veterinary Medicine from 2002-2007. Dr. Bramwell is a member of the Idaho Veterinary Emergency Response Team.
Business: Under a 2015 agreement between the IVMA and Idaho Humane Society regarding members of the public qualifying for low-cost services at the IHS, the society now keeps a low-income statement in qualifying clients’ files. Instead of providing higher-income clients with low-cost services as in the past, the IHS is directing them to private veterinary clinics in the area.
Officials: Drs. Sherilyn Burkman, Pocatello, president; Mark Howlett, Emmett, president-elect; Richard Linhart, Boise, treasurer; and Jennifer Glass, Twin Falls, immediate past president
