More than 20 years after becoming the first equine association to be headquartered in the National Horse Center at the Kentucky Horse Park, the AAEP moved into its new home, known as the Kester Building, in February. The AAEP employs 19 staff and has over 9,000 members in 63 countries worldwide. It was founded in 1954 and is the world’s largest professional association of equine veterinarians.

The open house included tours of the new building and remarks by guest dignitaries, including Jane Beshear, first lady of Kentucky.
