For 24 years, Dr. Marks served as the veterinarian for the U.S. Equestrian Team and U.S. Olympic Teams in jumping and dressage.

Dr. Marks also was a consultant to more than a dozen foreign jumping and dressage teams, and he was the veterinarian for the Canadian team at the Olympics and world championships, as well as for Olympic teams from Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Japan, Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas.

Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Marks was a professional horseman, competitive rider, and trainer; he still rides regularly. After graduating first in his veterinary class, Dr. Marks became a founding partner of the former Delaware Equine Center in Cochranville, Pa. Today, he continues his equine consulting practice.
